Whether it is representing victims of large trucking accidents, professional athletes, politicians, artists, large institutions or simple litigants, Barry Gogel brings a unique combination of mathematical ability and advocacy skills that allow him to solve complex problems and bring success to his clients.
Mr. Gogel helped form the Law Offices of Arnold M. Weiner in 2007 and is currently a Principal of the Firm. Previously, Mr. Gogel spent nearly a decade litigating a wide variety of complex business torts and employment related lawsuits at the law firms of Weiner & Weltchek and Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver.
Mr. Gogel currently serves as the Coach for the University Of Maryland School Of Law’s Alternate Dispute Resolution Team, where he has also served as a guest lecturer speaking on the topic of Communicating with Experts in Product Liability Cases. Believing in the importance of a strong community, Mr. Gogel is a member of the Citizenship Law Related Education Program’s Law Link committee, which places Baltimore City high school students in law firms and legal agencies for paid summer internships and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Central Maryland Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Mr. Gogel is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, and the American and Maryland Associations for Justice. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in mathematics with honors from the University of Vermont and he earned his Juris Doctorate with honor from the University of Maryland, where he won several awards for service and academic excellence. He has been recognized by his peers as an AV rated attorney, which is the highest rating one can obtain.
